Against The Grain delivers innovative, accessible and therapeutically-led woodworking and design sessions, with a focus on improving the lives of the people we work with.
Our practical sessions develop learning, knowledge and workplace skills to promote further education, training and employment. Our skills-based sessions encourage engagement in positive activities and aim to improve wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem. In addition, we deliver an Alternative Learning Provision for young people, including those with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health needs, and those at risk of exclusion or not currently in education, working considerately through a trauma-informed approach.
